Beth Warren, LPC-S is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years experience in a wide range of therapeutic settings. She currently maintains a virtual private practice
Beth’s areas of expertise include: grief counseling, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, ADHD and general life counseling. Her experience gained from previous work in industries such as social services, mental health, and education have uniquely equipped her to engage in a variety of roles ranging from direct client service and private practice to program direction and administration.
Her Christ-centered counseling style combines client needs and objectives with proven therapies drawing from Cognitive behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Positive Psychology, and Family Systems Theory.
Beth is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Texas Counseling Association.
Education and Training
Beth completed her undergraduate at the University of Oklahoma in 1981 where she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Home Economics in Early Childhood Education. She worked as a teacher in both Oklahoma and Texas for 15 years. In 1999, she returned to graduate school to pursue her passion of becoming a counselor. In 2004 she graduated from Amberton University in Garland, Texas with a Masters of Arts in Counseling. In 2006 she was certified as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.
